  1. Go to the main ENS entrance.
    1. RER B to Luxembourg, exit 3 (“r. de l'Abbé de l'Épée”), walk for 10 minutes (see the blue path in the map below)
    2. Metro 7 to Place Monge, exit 1 (“pl. Monge”), walk for 15 minutes (see the purple path in the map below)
    3. Bus 24 to “École Normale Supérieure” (the blue “academic cap” below)
    4. Bus 21 or 27 to “Feuillantines” (near the intersection of rue Gay-Lussac and rue des Feuillantines below)
  2. Pass via “la loge” marked below by a blue “academic cap”.

  2. Take the stair case down to the first basement level, turn right and continue.

Salle S16

  2. Take the stair case down to the first basement level, turn left and continue to the entrance to the CRYPTO team. Salle S16 is behind the door on the right.

Salles R, U/V, and Henri Cartan

  1. After arriving at 45 rue d'Ulm (see above), follow the red path in the map above to the red flag which indicates the entry to the Computer Science department (DI: Département Informatique).
  2. Take the stair case down two levels to the lowest basement, turn left and follow the corridor until you arrive at the room.

Salle W

  1. After arriving at 45 rue d'Ulm (see above), follow the dark green path in the map above to the dark green flag which indicates “Escalier B”.
  2. Go up to the 3rd level, then keep going until you find the staircase that goes right to the top (“les toits du DMA”).
  3. Salle W is at the top of the last staircase.

Salles Info 3 and 4

  1. After arriving at 45 rue d'Ulm (see above), follow the red path in the map above to the red flag which indicates the entry to the Computer Science department (DI: Département Informatique).
  2. Do not enter the Computer Science Department, rather turn left and follow the brown path through the passageway away from the Cour Pasteur and toward the concrete and glass covered library building.
  3. The brown flag marks two entrances and two possible paths:
    1. At the second entrance on the right, the main library entrance, there is an elevator. Descend to level -1: Info 3 is at right, Info 4 is at left.
    2. At the first entrance on the right, entrée 2, take the staircase that descends to level rez-de-chausée bas, follow the passageway toward the left past the salle d'expression artistique, take the dark staircase at the end to level -1, then follow the corridor to the rooms labelled Info 3 and Info 4.

La Rotonde

  1. After arriving at 45 rue d'Ulm (see above), follow the light green path in the map above to the coffee symbol. Entry to La Rotonde is via an external door and a very short corridor with offices at left and right. Entry to La Rotonde is also possible via the Salle Dussane if it is unlocked.

Conference Room - 46 rue d'Ulm

  1. The entrance to 46 rue d'Ulm is just across the street from the main entrance and “la loge”. It is marked above by a yellow “academic cap”. For access, there is an interphone to the very right of the entrance: dial “3663#” and explain that you have come for a seminar.
  2. Walk up the short staircase and toward the left. The entrance to the conference room is between the guardian's booth and the snack machines.

Salle Favard - 46 rue d'Ulm

  1. The entrance to 46 rue d'Ulm is just across the street from the main entrance and “la loge”. It is marked above by a yellow “academic cap”. For access, there is an interphone to the very right of the entrance: dial “3663#” and explain that you have come for a seminar.
  2. Walk up the short staircase and toward the right. Entry to the Salle Favard is direct via the path marked above in indigo.

CONF IV/E244 - 24 rue Lhomond

  1. The entrance to the Physics Department is at 24 rue Lhomond. It is marked above by a pink academic cap.

  2. After entering the main building, follow the passage to the right of the reception desk, go up the small staircase, and continue until the elevator/main staircase, marked by a pink dot above.

  3. Ascend to the second floor, turn to the left on exiting the elevator/staircase, proceed to the end of the corridor, then turn to the right and continue, go down the small staircase, the entrance to CONF IV is just afterward on your left. It is marked by a pink star in the map above.
